Claire & Sean wedding

Claire & Sean, like most 2021 wedding couples, had got caught up in the Covid restrictions nightmare and had to be patient before they could finally have their day to celebrate.

They both have a beautiful laid back nature which meant there was not an ounce of stress on their wedding day, and they took all in their stride.

One of the hardest things with these restricted weddings, in my opinion, is the family & friends who are missing from overseas and unable to make it home. Claire’s sister Colleen was very much missed by everyone on the wedding day, especially as she was Claire’s bridesmaid. Thanks to technology she was with us for most of the day on FaceTime and she watched on a webcam, but I would be sure there will be further celebrations once these Mullinaslin sisters are reunited!

We had an emotional visit to Sean’s granny in the morning, who also wasn’t able to make the wedding, but she still got her lipstick on for a special photograph with her first grandson.

It was a lovely local wedding & the popular couple stopped at Gerry’s pub in Carrickmore after the church, then a stop at Creggan to use the wild scenery for photos and onwards for a party in Cookstown (where I witnessed some of the best jiving I have seen in a long time!)
